Children: The Forgotten Victims of Domestic Violence, is a virtual tour by Voices 4 Change that discusses the effects of domestic violence on children who witness or are victims of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. Understanding the impact of intimate partner violence on children is critical for educators, health care workers, law enforcement and justice professionals, and social workers.
Each month, Voices4Change partners with organizations around the country to create interactive webinars to address issues related to intimate partner violence. This webinar will include speakers from Children & Families of Iowa, Iowa Coalition for Collective Change and Iowa Department of Human Services. The webinar will include a panel discussion with experts, as well as survivors of domestic abuse. This event will be streamed live and will be available to view upon registering here.
