I am passionate about working with people because everyone deserves to be heard, reminded of who they are, and supported through their experiences to reach a new level of thriving. Change happens through exploration of your past experiences and building insight into how they impact you today, identifying your unique values and strengths, and how these can be utilized to help you move forward. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma/abuse, and I work primarily with young adults throughout the lifespan. In addition, I have experience working with college students and young adults as they transition into a new life phase. I utilize a strength-based approach to help empower and encourage clients through a trauma lens and desire to create a space where people feel encouraged, validated, and motivated.
I am a licensed behavioral health clinician and am available to provide EMDR services. I received my BS in counseling with an emphasis in addiction, chemical dependency, and substance abuse through Grand Canyon University and my MA in clinical health counseling through the University of Northern Iowa.
