Reaching out for support takes courage. If you’re here, you’re already taking a powerful first step toward change. We all have a story that should be told, and I utilize a client-centered, strength-based approach, as I believe we are the experts of our own lives. We all have strengths that can serve as a foundation for lasting change. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with clients in identifying and overcoming barriers to personal growth, equipping them with coping strategies, healthier thought patterns, and increased emotional resilience so that they can navigate life’s challenges with confidence and a sense of purpose. As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, validating, and non-judgmental space that is authentic and empowering.
I received my Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) in 2019, where I double majored in Psychology and Child, Adult & Family Services. I then went on to receive my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Iowa, graduating in May 2025, and I am a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). My experience includes working with children and their caregivers regarding development and interactions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. I currently work with young children through adolescence (0-18) and families.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, watching TV and movies, going on walks with my dogs and significant other, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, and being out in the sunshine.
