Understanding Moms

Understanding Moms groups are programs available to support parents with innovative tools, strategies, and exercise for parents of all races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds. Developed by parenting experts, groups focus on the characteristics needed to be good parents.

Area groups are held in Appanoose, Davis, Monroe, Wapello, and Mahaska counties.

This program is offered at no cost to participants and is funded through state grants.
