Ankeny women support local nonprofit
December 21, 2017, Des Moines, IA – Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is honored to be the recipient of a generous donation from 100 Women Who Care Ankeny, which was awarded at the organization’s October quarterly meeting. Children & Families of Iowa plans to utilize the gift of $8,600 for renovations at their Cornerstone Recovery Center in Ankeny.
“We are grateful for the generous support from 100 Women Who Care Ankeny,” said Amy Stapp-Arpy, CDO/VP of Development and Communications. “CFI has maintained a presence in Ankeny for 24 years, providing mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment for all ages. These funds will help us expand and improve our current services.”
Through their support of CFI, 100 Women Who Care members seek to invest in the Ankeny area as their contributions assist CFI in providing important mental health and substance abuse services to individuals and families in the community.
