Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is committed to preventing child abuse and neglect by helping parents and caregivers create safe, stable homes and providing support to families in crisis.
You can help by joining honorary chairs Connie Wimer and Frank Fogarty at CFI’s 13th annual Tango gala being held Friday, July 31 for an evening of entertainment at the Sheraton in West Des Moines.
Funds raised at the event will benefit programs that help thousands of at-risk children and families throughout Iowa every year. Last year, the event generated over $125,000.
Guests will experience delicious hors d’oeuvres, dancing to live music by Final Mix, and the chance to bid on exceptional items at the live and silent auctions. Items include vacation packages, tickets to sporting events and performances, apparel and accessories just to name a few. Tickets for the charity event are available for $125 per person in advance or at the door.
“Every year, contributions from Tango provide critical support to CFI’s programs, which serve thousands of at-risk individuals throughout the state,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, CFI’s Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Development and Communications.
