“Kidsfest is really all about family,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, Chief Development Officer/Vice President of Development and Communications. “It gives families a chance to have fun and spend time together while giving back to other families in need. We have many new exciting activities and we hope people will take the opportunity to get out of the house and spend some quality time together.”
This year’s event has many exciting activities for the whole family, including new stage shows such as ventriloquist Lisa Laird and friends from Pockets Full of Fun; and “The Weather Dude” Nick Walker, a national TV meteorologist who uses his vocal, instrumental and songwriting talents to teach children the basics of weather and the importance of severe weather preparedness.
