Des Moines, Iowa – Guests at Children & Families of Iowa’s (CFI) 12th annual Tango gala being held Friday, August 1, will enjoy a night of entertainment at the Temple for Performing Arts in downtown Des Moines.
Funds raised at the event will benefit CFI’s programs that provide support to the thousands of at-risk children and families the organization serves every year. Last year, generous Tango attendees raised over $130,000.
Attendees will experience delicious hors d’oeuvres, dancing to live music by Final Mix, and the chance to bid on exceptional items at the live and silent auctions. Items include an African Safari, an all-inclusive stay at a Hard Rock Hotel Mexico, NASCAR package, necklace from Josephs Jewelers, skybox tickets to an Iowa Cubs baseball game, wine tasting for 20 at Wine Styles of Johnston, and a stay at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, just to name a few. Tickets for the charity event are available at $125 per person.
“Every year, contributions from Tango provide critical support to CFI’s programs, which serve thousands of at-risk individuals throughout the state,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, CFI’s Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Development and Communications.
