Des Moines, Iowa – Over 230 boys, girls and accompanying guardians channeled their inner superhero at Children & Families of Iowa’s (CFI) Super Incredible Party, presented by EMC National Life Company, on April 12. The event raised $4,775 to support programs dedicated to serving Iowa’s at-risk children and families.
Attendees of the event, hosted by the Incredible Buffet & Fun Center in Urbandale, enjoyed a breakfast buffet and fun-filled morning of arcade games, go karts and the chance to meet favorite characters and local heroes. Professional photo opportunities with superheroes were also available, along with the option to purchase raffle tickets and bid on silent auction items for a chance to win prizes. Congratulations to Lidia Jones, age 4, Colin Osboe, age 5 and Daniel Bedford, age 10, winners of the Superhero Costume Contest!
“Funds raised through CFI’s Super Incredible Party help many at-risk Central Iowa families achieve the stability and safety their children deserve to live happy, healthy lives,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, CFI’s Chief Development Officer /Vice President of Development and Communications.
