Des Moines, Iowa – Calling all superheroes! Families are invited to join Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) for our Super Incredible Party! A hero can be defined in many ways—parents, doctors, teachers, police officers, firefighters, soldiers, traditional comic book characters, the list is endless!
On Saturday, April 12, boys and girls from Central Iowa will gather for breakfast and a morning filled with superheroes, games, prizes, and lots of fun! Children ages 2 to 12 are encouraged to wear their most creative superhero attire and enter our Superhero Costume Contest for a chance to win incredible prizes!
Formerly known as the Boys will be Boys event, Children & Families of Iowa’s Super Incredible Party, presented by EMC National Life Company, will be hosted by Incredible Buffet & Fun Center, located at 3799 Northwest 86th Street in Urbandale, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the programs of CFI, whose mission is restoring hope, building futures and changing lives for Iowa’s most at-risk children and families.
“By purchasing tickets, families who attend CFI’s Super Incredible Party get a chance to act as real superheroes for children who are in need of safety and stability in their lives,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, Chief Development Officer/Vice President of Development & Communications.
Included in the admission cost is a breakfast buffet and $10 game card provided by Incredible Buffet & Fun Center, a great goody bag for each child, and the opportunity to visit with superheroes of all forms. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes and bid on silent auction items. Have your little superhero’s photo professionally taken with one or all of the superheroes present for $6 per photo.
Admission is only $12 per person – All children are welcome!
