Des Moines, Iowa –The Fred Maytag Family Foundation recently awarded a grant in the amount of $25,000 to Children & Families of Iowa.
The funds will help maintain CFI programs that help Iowa’s at-risk children and families including Domestic Violence Services that help victims of domestic abuse; Teen Programs that provide full spectrum substance abuse therapy and mental health services, group homes and development of educational and vocational goals; Family Support Programs that help find safe, stable homes for abused or neglected children, and support for families in crisis; Early Childhood Development Services that provide affordable, quality childcare for low-income families in addition to therapeutic classrooms for children with emotional and behavioral challenges; and Mental Health Services that provides trauma-informed counseling for individuals, couples and families.
