Des Moines, Iowa – Children – slip into your favorite superhero costume. Your mission is to join Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) for our annual Boys will be Boys event! On Saturday, April 20, boys (and girls) from Central Iowa will gather for breakfast and a morning filled with superheroes, games, prizes, and lots of fun!
Children & Families of Iowa’s Boys will be Boys event, presented by EMC National Life Company, and hosted by Incredible Buffet & Fun Center, located at 3799 Northwest 86th Street in Urbandale, will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit CFI, whose mission is restoring hope, building futures and changing lives for Iowa’s most at-risk children and families.
“CFI’s Boys will be Boys event is a fundraiser focused on helping Central Iowa families provide stability and safety for their children. Children who deserve to live in loving, safe environments,” says Amy Stapp-Arpy, Director of Development and Communications.
Activities include a breakfast buffet and $10 game card provided by Incredible Buffet & Fun Center, a great goody bag for each child, and the opportunity to visit with members of the Urbandale Police and Fire Departments. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes including superhero packages, event tickets and much more. Bid on silent auction items including a stunt bike with helmet. Have your little superhero’s photo professionally taken with Spiderman, Batman or Captain America for $5 per photo.
Admission is only $10 per person – All children are welcome!
