Des Moines, Iowa – Panera Bread hosted princesses and their parents Saturday morning at the 2012 Panera Princess Party benefitting the programs and services of Children & Families of Iowa (CFI).
Held at Jordan Creek Town Center, this event sold out for the fourth straight year, and raised more than $29,800. More than 800 attendees enjoyed breakfast provided by Panera Bread, participated in crafts, activities, collected autographs and posed for princess photos. Parents had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle for fun prizes including a princess bicycle, American Girl McKenna Doll and wooden princess rocking throne.
Additional activities included glamour spa packages, dancing and professional photos with Pixie and Sleeping Beauty. Attendees could also purchase tickets for a special screening of Brave at Century 20 Jordan Creek Theater.
“The Princess Party is an excellent opportunity for kids to help kids,” says CFI Director of Development & Communications Amy Stapp-Arpy. “With community support and great corporate sponsorship, we have been able to create an event that is not only fun, but also one from which every dollar raised goes directly to fund programs that serve thousands of struggling families throughout Iowa.”
CFI would like to thank the generous sponsors and supporters who help make the Panera Princess Party a success: Panera Bread, Iowa School of Beauty, Bella K Photography, Little Princess Parties and Jordan Creek Town Center.
