Des Moines, Iowa – Save the date! On Saturday morning, September 22, princesses from around Central Iowa will gather at the Panera Princess Party, making dreams come true for hundreds of little girls.
The Princess Party, presented by Panera Bread, will take place at the Jordan Creek Town Center food court from 8 to 10 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Children & Families of Iowa, whose mission is restoring hope, building futures and changing lives for Iowa’s most vulnerable families.
“The Princess Party offers little princesses an opportunity to come together to celebrate childhood with the goal of helping those who could use a little magic in their lives,” says Executive Director Gloria Gray. “The Princess Party is now in its fourth year, giving families the chance to have fun together while supporting the critical needs of at-risk children.”
Admission includes breakfast, fun activities and crafts as well as the opportunity to meet princesses including Cinderella, Arabian Princess, Beauty and Snow White. Little princesses can collect autographs, have their photos taken, create princess crafts and play games. Parents will be able to participate in a raffle and silent auction. Some additional activities will include glamour spa packages and professional photos with Pixie and Sleeping Beauty. After the party, princesses will have the opportunity to attend a special 10 a.m. screening of Brave at Century 20 Jordan Creek Theatres. Cost for the screening is $3 per person. The proceeds from all event activities will benefit Children & Families of Iowa.
There are a limited number of tickets available for this event, which sells out every year. Tickets are $12 per person (12 months and under are free), and may be purchased online.
