Des Moines, Iowa – Children & Families of Iowa’s (CFI) Child Development Center recently earned a 5 on the Quality Rating Scale used by the Department of Human Services.
A 5 on the Quality Rating Scale is the highest rating possible and is determined by Environmental Rating Scales used to improve quality child care. There are four different Environmental Rating Scales: Early Childhood, Family Child Care, Infant/Toddler, and SchoolAge Care.
“It is a great achievement for our Child Development Center to obtain the highest possible rating for licensed child care centers,” says CFI Executive Director Gloria Gray. “Our staff is dedicated to the safety and healthy development of the children, and families should feel good about sending their kids to our child care center.”
